The Wonderful Word for This Wednesday is ‘Father’!
I made this card template a few years ago and posted it on my BLOG. It is timeless! This year I did a new rendition (see the featured image above) because my husband and my dad just went fishing together.
What does your father enjoy? Look up ‘simple images of _____’ on the Google machine to get some good ideas and fill up the letters with mini images and add a simple setting in the background. Cut it out and paste it on Kraft paper or construction paper and viola! You have a personalized, handmade, Father’s Day card for this weekend. You can even add an image to the inside for fun!
Here’s the original post:
I made you something! I won’t even make you unwrap it first, I’m going to just tell you: It’s a Father’s Day card you can make your own. Why? Because I love to ‘Play Art & Spread Joy’!
It’s been super fun to draw these letters in different mediums and different styles of shading/coloring/painting.

Anyhoo, I made YOU some beveled lettered Father’s Day cards to do with as you please! It’s an 8.5 x 11 printable with two cards on it. Cut it in half the hamburger way and then fold up your two cards, color them and viola! Give them to your kids to color up for their dad! Print it out on thicker paper and use watercolors, there are tons of possibilities!
Oh! And I didn’t even put any fancy borders or pics, that’s for YOU to do! Why would I steel that creativity from you? I wouldn’t!
What will you do with yours? I can’t wait to see! Really. I really want to see!
Post your pics on Facebook or Instagram and tag me or respond to this email with your pic – just some ideas!
So, GO FORTH! Play art and spread some joy to those dads!
