The Wonderful Words for this Wednesday are “Flag Creating Contest”
This week, many of us are off work, BBQ’s are happening, and kids are running around crazy, so stop the chaos for a bit and hand out these blank American Flag templates and some crayons, colored pencils, or markers in red white and blue. Let everyone, grown ups included, design their own American flag for the 4th of July and string them up proudly.
We were sitting around the campfire this evening and I handed out blank flag templates for anyone who wanted one and we chatted and drew. My youngest son had to do his own in his sketchbook:
