It’s Spread the Love Day!
As many of you already know, I’ve designated the 14th of every month the “Spread the Love” day and I look forward to this day each month!
I’m super excited this month because this one is a collaboration with a colleague and friend, Joke (pronounced yokee in Dutch) Wijn. She is a Lettering Designer and Logo Designer based out of Roermond, the Netherlands. I mean, LOOK at this beautiful design! This girl is amazing.
You Are Enough
You, just you. Not you and your job, or you and your popularity, just you. You won’t finally be enough when you get the right spouse, or have a baby, or attain that promotion or that status. YOU ARE ENOUGH, just as you are right this minute, to be loved.
I think we all need to hear this, so let’s go spread this message shall we?
Okay, here are your instructions:
- Download the download (well? How else do I say it?).
- Print the postcards double-sided so the #spreadthelove will be printed on the back of each postcard.
- Cut each one out and color them up beautifully!
- GO FORTH & SPREAD THE LOVE to random people in random places.
- Take a pic of you sneaking them in places and send it to me please. Nobody has done that so far and I REALLY want to see one or two or three :-).
Doing This is Guaranteed Joy
And who doesn’t need more joy in thier life?! Truly.
You really MUST try this out. I am here to personally verify how fun this is! First of all the coloring is fun to start with, and then thinking of where you are giong to put these little postcards of love makes you giddy, THEN actually sticking them in those places gives you a little rush of “I just secretly planted a happy surprise for someone!”.
Let your mind imagine their response. It’s good stuff, I really mean it.
We are having a garage sale today, so I’m planting these babies in purses, books, you name it! I love imagining the person finding it later and smiling. And remember, smiling releases the good stuff in the brain, so you know you just gave that person a major bright spot in their day.
